Moved $1.7M in grantmaking to end factory farming
Partnered to offer 2 strategic planning courses to 16 grantees from 16 countries
Jumpstarted the plant-based food systems movement in 30% of African countries
Held multiple grantee coaching sessions to support strategy & growth
Coached 148 Thrive Africa Accelerator members in campaign strategy
Strengthened Africa-based women-identified advocates through our inaugural Africa Vegan Women’s Initiative
Launched the world’s first Africa Vegan Restaurant Week and Africa School Lunch Campaign, joint Africa-wide campaigns with nearly 50 registered participants from 16 African countries, increasing nutritious plant-based food access to tens of thousands of people
2 staff members were recipients of the Rockwood Equity in Philanthropy Leadership Fellowship
